Breast Cancer Foundation NZ are committed to their vision of zero deaths from breast cancer. Since 1994, they have pushed for new frontiers in early detection, treatment & support.
TOUCH, LOOK, CHECK
It's important to check your breasts regularly and to make sure you are aware of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. There's no special way to check your breasts and checking your breasts is as easy as TLC:
- Touch your breasts: can you feel anything new or unusual?
- Look for changes: does anything look different to you?
- Check: any new or unusual changes with a GP.
Everyone will have their own way of touching and looking for changes. Check your whole breast area, including up to your collarbone (upper chest) and armpits.
